  I was so very disappointed! This used to be my favorite restaurant! We went out with new friends, another couple who had also been there frequently over the years. The decor didn’t change at all from the middle room to the salad bar room, even though it said, and reviews that it had. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about and nothing like it used to be. The waiter, who kept calling my husband dude and bud, was never available, We had to get up and search for someone to help us to get a drink, etc. The new manager, who one would never expect a manager to look like was walking around, greeting people, and asking how they were doing, and how their food was, was dressed in a skin tight provocative, low cut, Bright, yellow and red dress. And when she turned away from us, It showed a very unflattering backside. At one point, the manager was the only one we could find, when one of us wanted a 2nd drink. My husband ordered a $38 steak, medium rare. We had all started eating at this point when he cut into it and found out that it was well done. He finally got the waiter over when we were probably a third to halfway done our meals, he apologized and took it back and said he’ll have another one come right out. Well… 30 minutes later, the waiter came up to us, and said dude I’m really sorry, but he’s putting it on right now! So 20 minutes later, he arrived with his second steak, and we were all done at this point, and the steak was still mooing!! And the night before when I made the reservations, I also made reservations for the comedy show that they have upstairs. When I said to the waiter that we needed to rush the order because we had tickets to go upstairs to the comedy show, he said to me, “ Oh, didn’t anyone tell you, the show has been canceled. We didn’t sell enough tickets.” So all in all, I would give this a one or two star!! None of us will ever go back there again! And it’s so sad because it was such an incredibly good restaurant before they bought it! We’re gonna miss the old Owners!

  Was surprised how lacking the food was and taste. Our waiter was really around us and we had issues. I had to get out of my seat to go find a hostess or manager to get attention wasn’t a great experience.

  Barbara was fantastic! Karina, very pleasant. We give this an 8.5 out of 10 experience. The only thing that could use some work is the atmosphere... Love the espresso martini! Best prime rib I've had in a long time.. we will be back

  Oh my goodness but this meal (seafood Alfredo) is terrific! I wish I had 2 stomachs!

  My family and I stopped into this unknown jem of a restaurant after hiking around the state park. The clam chowder was the best I have ever had, fluffy and full of flavor. We also ordered fish and chips which came to the table quickly and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was clean and fresh and the waitstaff was kind and friendly. If you are anywhere near The Hungry Traveler, it is the right place to stop in for an amazing meal.
