My all time favorite places to eat…. Ever. Do yourself a favor and come to eat here. Everything you order is off the charts amazing and I mean EVERYTHING. You can not go wrong with any choice. My all time favorite is the BLT but like I said, everything on the menu is amazing. The owners and everyone who works here are the absolute best. You can tell when a place takes pride in their business and truly cares about the food and the people they serve. Such a great space to eat at and great for take out as well. Thank you all for being the best. My fam and I appreciate you all! 🌱 💚

Hands down the best! Best food, best service, and, most of all, best people! The food is absolutely delicious. It beats any vegan restaurant I’ve ever tried. The atmosphere is comfortable with fantastic music. The people are amazing! The owners are right there…slinging seitan and helping with any questions you might have. Other staff members are friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. If I lived close I’d be a permanent fixture. We just finished our last dinner at Not Your Mama’s during our Salem stay and I’m already looking forward to what I’m going to order when we’re back next year!

My mother and I are visiting Salem from New York on a girls weekend. We were getting hungry so I looked up a Vegan place and Not Ya Mommas Vegan Cafe came up. We walked about 10 minute to the cafe and looked at the menu but didn’t find a lot that caught our eye. I ended up ordering a large Lions Mane drink for $12.00 and a magic bar for around $5.00 (delicious btw) however I asked to use their restroom to which they replied it’s for dine in customers only. Never have I heard that a paying customer can’t use the bathroom. I’m not one to write reviews such as this but it was a complete turnoff. Just in case there are others out there please note that you are not a customer to them unless you sit and eat at their restaurant.

I can’t say enough about how amazing this place is. The food is delicious, the staff is so welcoming and friendly, and the owners are wonderful folks. I live in Salem and stop in regularly. The portion sizes are generous and worth every penny. I’ve tried nearly every item on their menu by now and I’ve never been disappointed. Hands down the best restaurant in Salem.

I’m really disappointed. I was so excited to see a vegan cafe open because a wide variety of vegan options can be hard to find. Let me preface this by saying the food I’ve gotten so far has been super tasty (pretty overpriced but I can get past that due to the location and lack of other vegan cafes).
I’ve been twice, and both times the staff were like…. Appallingly unpleasant? I was kind of shocked. The first time could have been a fluke as everyone has bad days and food service can be stressful so I figured I’d give it another shot. But holy moly the second time was even worse— the staff looked absolutely miserable and made me feel like walking into their cafe was the biggest inconvenience. Myself and the other customers in line were kind of looking at each other like….. are you guys feeling this vibe too?? I genuinely felt guilty by being in there because it seemed like my presence pissed them off so much.
Since I live within walking distance and am vegan I was hoping this could be a regular spot for me but I honestly won’t go back just because I felt like such a burden being in there. I really wouldn’t recommend going unless you want to feel entirely unwelcome.
