  Kate was so wonderful. Honestly everyone else i dealt with made me feel like I was putting them out. She made me feel like I was a customer and she wanted to do anything she could to make my experience better after multiple mistakes. I wish I could tip her because she was so great And she made me feel wanted as a customer

  3/21/2026- You can no longer trust ANY of the produce prices or the register scales. Produce is constantly scanning higher than advertised. Scales at register are either uncalibrated or clerks are putting their thumb on them - they just tried to claim an item that was around 1.5 pounts was 2.4lbs. Check your recveits, weight your produce and meats yourself, they are ripping peple off! Not just this store, but this whole company is a joke. Frozen foods are being improperly stored or transported - they show clear signs of being allowed to thaw and refreeze. This is a health and safety risk. The Deli prepared foods team peels all of the breading and skin off of the fried chicken when they package it as cold - so no one will buy it. Product constantly rings up at the wrong price and then you need to argue with the store staff and wait for a price check. All of this has been brought to the store manager repeatedly and it has only worsened in 8 months. The 800 customer service number is staffed by operators who think it is a game - you can't hear them because the connection is terrible, they put you on speakerphone and refuse to take you off, they refuse to transfer to a supervisor. Stop and Shop has become a horrible company!

  The dairy lady Erika on Merrill rd is always so helpful and kind. Plus not to mention she keeps it looking so nice and organized!!
