    1947 is our go to for Indian. Their food is always fresh and tastes delicious. They also are able to customize and make some good extra spicy options!

    Very unique flavors!! Most of the indian restaurants in the US have mostly from the same region of India. This place has so many dishes I’ve never even heard of and the flavors are so unique and tasty. I’m so glad I discovered this place.

    We went there arer wacng a play at the theater nearby. We had a reservation so there was no wait, but don't think you would have to wait long as they have plenty of seating. Separated into three different seating areas and one of them has a stage where believe they have live music on Fridays and they can probably open up the middle to connect two of the areas. The food was very good however it is also very pricey. It's not somewhere can see myself going often. They bring you water as soon as you sit but had to request a second soda two times and he still didn't remember, until a while later he noticed he hadnt brought it yet so not ideal, but at least better than being completely forgotten. I would go there again and I do recommend a reservation, just in case, but I won't be going there often.

    Gourish was amazing. Recommended the dosa and butter chicken both were perfect with the right amount of spice to add to the flavor Versus overpowering The meal. Will definitely come back again.

    Very mixed food experience on Saturday dinne. Mysore Masala Dosa was absolutely wonderful, one of the best out of thousands I had around the World, including in India: large, beautiful, fresh, crispy and very yummy! At the same time eggplant and okra curry dishes were mediocre at best with inedible okra woody buts in it. And finally the $7 chai was a complete disaster: tasteless, spiceless muddy luke warm (re-heated) 6 Oz in the small carton cup! That completely spoiled the experience which started so great with the fenomenal dosa!
