- KWKaitlin WhiteJun 16, 20214.0I always go to Stop & Shop for my grocery needs. But seriously, what's up with the 6 foot tall, creepy robot wandering around?? It's either following people, or getting so close to you, it feels like a violation of your personal space. I mean...what? Regular security isn't enough? They say the robot is supposedly there to detect, "spills", in the aisles. Although usually, I believe the loud noise of something falling off the shelves, would quickly get the attention of employees? I don't like the robot. My kid doesn't like the robot & never has. Actually every kid I have talked to about it or brought into the store with me, doesn't like the robot either. I believe it's name is, "Marty",...? Regardless- I usually do try to shop elsewhere now. Just saying..the robot creeps people out..
