  Store totally redesigned and refrigeration chests quadrupled to keep food fresh and easily available. Store has shopper services and delivery available or drive up pick up. Staff very helpful and shelves stocked well. Very price competitive with other big markets and has many price reductions or specials to help in this troubled times. Great variety of brands and store brands. It's actually pleasurable to shop there with floral area just as you arrive and coffe shop with seating. Besides self checkout, still usually has several manned registers with baggers.

  This is my favorite grocery store. I am always impressed by the selection. The shelves are constantly being stocked. Last night I needed help with my self check out machine and Mikey who was running the area rushed over to help me. All the workers there do such a great job. The deli always has pleasant faces. The produce area is always kept really nice. A+

  Prices are reasonable, a nice variety of food selections, and the workers are ALL friendly and helpful.

  BUGS IN FLOUR 🤮 Went through the unbelievable hassle of having to replace a $5 bag of flour (which I purchased a few weeks ago) and found it infested with WEEVILS. My family had eaten over half the bag before the BUGS were noticed - DISGUSTING! After taking photos of the BUGS, I threw the rest of the bag out to prevent further infestation of my pantry. I returned to the store without a receipt. I purchased the bag approximately 3 weeks prior so of course I didn’t have my receipt. A 5 minute attempt to retrieve the information from my Star Market app proved to be far too tedious and time consuming considering minor value of my complaint. I was informed by the customer service member that no refund/replacement would be issued without my receipt. I showed her the photos of the BUGS which made absolutely no difference to her in resolving the issue. She repeatedly stated store policy that without a receipt it is assumed that I “could have purchased the bag somewhere else” and was then PUBLICLY ACCUSED OF RETURN FRAUD over a $5 BAG OF FLOUR!!! Where do I start? 1) I HAVE SPENT OVER A HALF MILLION DOLLARS in that store over 40 years: $250/wk x 52 wk/yr x 40 yr = $520,000.00 Yet my big scam is to defraud Marshfield Star Market of a $5 bag of flour - simply asinine! 2) MARSHFIELD STAR MARKET DEFRAUDED AND ATTEMPTED TO POISON MY FAMILY by selling the bag of bugs in the first place. 3) I had to take time my life to return to the store to administer to their horrific imposition only to be publicly INSULTED AND ACCUSED OF FRAUD! This mortifying experience is legally known as: DEFAMATION BY IMPLICATION She shamefully displayed a complete lack of discretion, tact and discern in handling a known lifelong loyal customer. The unwarranted AUTHORITARIANISM of this customer service member has left me with a level of PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS. I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE TO SHOP IN STAR MARKET OF MARSHFIELD for fear of future profiling and further unsubstantiated criminal allegations.

  The sushi used to be SO good, I used to come from a few towns away to get it. The new sushi, Bento Express, is industrial slop that they're charging the same amount for. The rice is not vinegared, and is so stale it falls apart. The cucumbers are so old they've gone clear and bitter, and the avocado is more brown than green. They don't offer chopsticks or extra soy packets, no gyoza or seaweed salad, and no green tea. The wasabi and ginger now come in plastic packets, and aren't fresh. This is sushi for profit, not for people. Avoid it, and you'll thank me.
