- TSTom SjobergDec 31, 20251.0I had a really disappointing experience at this Dunkin’. My mom was ordering through the drive-thru speaker and asked for a medium hot latte. The employee, Abdul, misheard and put it in as an iced latte on the screen, so we politely corrected him and said it was supposed to be hot. His response was, “Well you should’ve said that,” with a noticeable attitude. When I asked him to repeat what he said, he repeated the same comment again, still with an attitude. I asked to speak to a manager and was told to pull up to the first window. When we did, Abdul, the same employee from the speaker, came to the window and said, “I’m the one you were speaking with, what’s up,” in a confrontational manner. His behavior escalated to the point where another staff member had to step in and pull him away from the window, which was extremely uncomfortable and unnecessary. I again asked to speak to a manager and explained that his attitude and behavior were rude and inappropriate. The manager eventually came over, seemed fairly indifferent, but said he would handle it and gave us our coffees for free. For context, I’m an active duty service member visiting my mother for the holidays, and we did absolutely nothing to provoke this interaction. A simple correction to an order should not result in attitude, confrontation, or escalation. Customer service here was very unprofessional, and this experience left a bad impression.
