  Disappointing Experience at Dunkin’ Donuts This morning, my husband picked up a coffee for me on his way home, and when I went to drink it, it was watery and tasted burnt. While I was disappointed, I understood that mistakes can happen. I decided to stop by the Dunkin’ Donuts myself on my way to work, about 35-40 minutes after the initial order. I was polite to the staff, explaining the situation and just asking for the coffee to be made correctly. Unfortunately, things took a turn. While I was waiting, I overheard the staff speaking in a language I understand. They were talking about how my coffee was watery because I had let it sit for 40 minutes and was now “complaining.” First off, the coffee was made incorrectly from the start. Second, I hadn’t gone in earlier because I was getting ready for work. Third, I remained polite throughout the situation. The worst part? The staff was talking badly about me in front of me, which is unprofessional and completely unacceptable. As a customer, you should never be spoken about in a negative way, especially when you’re being respectful. This experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning to this Dunkin’ Donuts.
