Why have a fresh meat counter and an on site butcher if they won't even offer butcher service to a customer ? I know for a fact the local competitors will butcher any cut of meat available,upon request !

Unfortunately, they were sold out so I asked a person in the meat department if they would be getting any more in. He said maybe they could tell me in the front of the store. I went to the customer serbice desk and asked the person there. They said "Why would he send you up here? I don't know." and got the manager. The manager told me he didn't know and I should come back the next day or check on line. I went to the website on 10/30, ordered and paid for the product. I received a confirmation email. Later, I received a text with a link to check in when I arrived. I checked in when I arrived and waited. After 20 minutes with me being the only person waiting for someone to come out of the store, I called the number on the sign in front of me. The person I was speaking to knew nothing about my order. After a minute, she stated that my order had been cancelled and I should have been notified. I was not notified. Extremely disappointed with their service and process. New website or not, it was a horrible experience. My time is valuable, just like yours. System should not have been launched until fully tested for all contingencies. I doubt very much that I will do business at Hannaford stores going forward. Hopefully you will learn something from my experience and sort it out.
