After hearing “be with you in a moment” we didn’t hear from an employee for 30 minutes. Drive thru was empty, only people in line and lobby was empty when we went around front. After waiting for 30+ minutes we left with no food and still didn’t hear the employee again. Terrible service!

At this rest stop just over the MA border from NY on the pike, it's not very good. If you 'must', and no choice, to stop, it will cover that. However the next exit after this one in MA is much better. Here, the bathroom's were dingy and ordering at this McDonald's has been tough on more than one occasion. It's not the cheapest McDonald's, just as you would expect in a rest stop. We had difficulty communicating with the person who is taking our drive through order, it was clear English was not their first language They ended up putting somebody else on the speaker to take our order. WhileI have great patience with people who are still learning our language, that person should be on another task, until they ramp up. When we arrived at the window there was a group of the three people who were just standing around laughing. The food was good, the service was quick (apart from ordering) but next time We are traveling back from Canada, we'll remember to take the following exit.

I was upcharged on a "Free" happy meal reward. The cashier verbally told me it was because I got "extra fries", yet other McDonalds do not upcharge when the apple slices are swapped for an extra baby fry. Then I found the receipt, and saw the upcharge was actually for the soda...which *I* had to fill at the fountain. Again, this is not something that happens at any of my local McDonald's.
I am not local to the area, just passing through on my way to visit a family member in the hospital. I was already stressed and literally had no cash on me. I was redeeming the reward for my son and did not eat myself.
