Unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to raise serious concerns. The core issue lies with the Shaws Ipswich location, which appears to be the default store for fulfillment. Week after week, a significant number of items in our regular grocery orders are marked as out of stock. This has rendered the Freshpass service both frustrating and unreliable. What’s more, I am consistently forced to drive to the Beverly store every Saturday to pick up the missing items and fresh produce myself—completely defeating the purpose of home delivery. The quality and freshness of produce at Ipswich do not compare to Beverly, and I no longer trust the Ipswich team to select fresh items on my behalf. This situation represents a waste of both time and money, and it undermines the promise of convenience that Freshpass is meant to deliver. I urge Shaws to investigate these issues urgently—both in terms of inventory reliability at Ipswich and the apparent limitations placed on customers who have no alternative store options for delivery.
