  Had the opportunity of being at Encore Boston and my Asian bride noted 'Red 8' ... a restaurant on the edge of the casino. Perfect! Lovely setting inches away from the casino bing, ding, ming - bing. Reality, there's no barrier. NOISY. BUT ... the food and service above par! Excellent and quick too! But, WAIT! Did I just pay $32.00+ per person for a loud lunch in a Chinese restaurant...and we didn't even have drinks? Not again, my friend ... regardless of how much I win at the casino.

  The food was good. Felt like our party got jerked around by the staff. We were told 30mins for a table, time passed we came back after 45 mins without recieving a text update. We were told to wait another 45mins. After patiently waiting still no update when we came back we noticied other parties after ours had been seated already. The finally seated us. Food was decently priced, good quality, and strong drinks. Would hope to give it a second chance besides host service.

  Eaten here a few times. Always surprised when trying a new menu item. The sauteed chicken and vegetables with XO sauce......very unique. I kept the sauce on the side. The XO sauce is a small plate of shredded cooked scallops. When added to the dish, it explodes in a very unique flavor combination. Strongly recommend.

  Probably the worse meal I have eaten in 12 months. We ordered the Peking Duck special and were really disappointed. The meat was chewy and I would be amazed if you could make one chicken nugget out of the meat served. The waiter agreed and said “well some ducks are skinny”!!! I would not recommend eating here. At the end of the meal my partner, whose birthday it was says I wish we had gone to McDonalds - it was that bad! What a way to ruin a birthday meal

  Chill spot. The wait might be just a moment for service. The duck is my favorite dish but this places is best for eating family style.
