- MMMelissa5 days ago1.0Today 1/7 I went to the deli to pick up a few cold cuts and asked for honey ham. The employee told me they didn’t have any, while he was wearing an AirPod and actively having a personal conversation. Moments later, he went to the back and brought out honey ham. I then ordered hot capicola and was again told they were out. Fortunately, another employee overheard me and informed him that there was more in the back. The same situation happened when I asked for pepper jack cheese. What was most concerning is that while preparing my order, the employee removed his AirPod using the same gloves he was using to handle my cold cuts, without changing them. This is unsanitary and completely unacceptable. Due to the lack of professionalism and poor food safety practices, I did not feel comfortable keeping the items and put them back elsewhere.
