  I am writing this review because as a customer I witnessed a situation that I found very unfair. The young man who prepares the sandwiches and food provides excellent service. He is hardworking, fast, and clearly the one putting in the most physical effort in the store. You can see that he works hard and with dedication. The service from the two girls at the front is average, but what concerned me most was how the tips are handled. I left a $1 tip and watched as a person who appeared to be the manager opened the cash register, took the bill, and split it in half (50 cents for each of the front employees), completely excluding the young man who prepares all the food. As a customer, this seemed unprofessional and unfair. If tips are not distributed fairly among the entire team — especially including the person doing most of the work — then I do not feel comfortable leaving tips at this establishment. In fact, I felt obligated to personally give the young man $10 because I did not think what was happening was right. I hope the owner reviews this practice, as situations like this affect customer trust and the overall image of the business.

  Falling asleep due to crawling evening rush hour traffic, I’ve stopped in here twice. On both occasions, the employees who were working were absolutely wonderful. Happy and friendly. A nice pick-me-up for the rest of the drive home!
