I drive from Worcester to Clinton for groceries because I prefer Hannaford's selection, especially their "Taste of Inspirations" line and their produce. My grocery pick-up before this one was perfection. Today I was actually annoyed. I checked in and about a minute later my trunk was opening. Nobody checked in at my window and verified it was me, or asked me where I wanted my groceries. My trunk is always full and I usually get my groceries in the back seat. I had to say, "Sorry, can I actually get those in the back seat?' The Hannaford employee goes "Are you #name?" well... we should have done that before you opened my trunk, but I said yes, and verified my last name. She then asked me if I could close the trunk from upfront, apparently she didn't want to do that, so I did. She proceeded to SLAM the groceries in the back seat, and she slammed the door when she was done. I chalked it up to maybe her having a bad day. When I got home and I'm unpacking, I can see everything is poorly packed (soft squishy items on the bottom, heavy items on the top) and I can see an entire container of raspberries is so squished, the berried and broken and leaking. The mangos (I got 3) are all visibly rotten from the outside, but I did cut into to verify I wasn't going crazy. The bananas are really bruised, even the onion is actually dented! I am so appalled, and I feel like I wasted my money here. I don't think I can continue to shop here...
