  I felt disappointed with our recent dining experience. There was a clear lack of service-minded staff and an evident staff shortage. The restaurant is far too large for only one server to manage; however, there was only one staff member on duty. As a result, the service was extremely slow. Food delivery was delayed for an unreasonable amount of time, which significantly disrupted our dining experience and made the meal unpleasant. When we tried to get the server’s attention to follow up on our order, we had to wait for a long time before being assisted. Furthermore, when we had the hot pot, but we were given plastic utensils, which was completely unacceptable for the type of meal and the price we paid. When we politely raised our concern about this issue, the server argued with us instead of handling the situation professionally and respectfully. Additionally, the food did not taste fresh and failed to meet our expectations in terms of quality. Considering the $45 price, the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the value. The hot pot also made us feel uncertain about its preparation and safety standards. We also felt that the server discriminated against us by deliberately avoiding our table and refusing to serve us properly after we asked about our order. This behavior made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Overall, we left feeling dissatisfied and disheartened by both the service and the food quality. I would strongly recommend that others avoid dining at this restaurant if they wish to have a pleasant and secure dining experience.

  DAE GEE Korean BBQ is an awesome spot for anyone who loves good food and good vibes. The meats are super flavorful and fresh, and grilling them right at the table makes it even more fun. The staff is friendly and quick to help, and the side dishes are always refilled fast. The whole place has a lively, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again. Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ spots around!

  Went to dae gee on a Saturday night, they were fairly busy, but not full. We have been two other times and had positive experiences but this time was different. The service was TERRIBLE. First, it took forever for a waiter to come over and take our drink order and when they finally did they promptly forget to get us our drinks. We ordered our BBQ ala carte as we did not want All you can eat. For some reason, they took this to mean we did not want to grill our own food and it was cooked in the kitchen. When we told them we wanted to cook it ourselves they argued with us and told us it was too late (we had only put our order in a minute or two before). The drinks still hadn’t come and my husband had to prompt the three waiters who were just lounging by the bar drinking their own sodas to get us our drinks. These guys were like the three stooges and it felt like they had no idea what they were doing. Was there a manager present? No idea, but it didn’t seem like it. When I finally got my mojito it was undrinkable. Lime and mint were imperceptible and there was a salt rim? On a mojito? It was awful. The food was decent, I guess , but the poor service kind of ruined the atmosphere for us. I do not know who put the three stooges in charge on a busy Saturday night but it was not a good decision. We won’t be back.

  First of all, teach your servers to listen and rectify customer complaints. Myself, my partner, and her mother each ordered cocktails that were more water than anything. My $12 mojito tasted like tonic water with a mint leaf in it, and the only alcohol was the $3 single bottle of rum sticking out of it that had to be dumped in as the non alcoholic portion was drained. Likewise with my darlings "coronarita", there was no alcohol in the concoction but the corona itself. When I very clearly stated to a server that I wouldn't order drinks there again because they were mostly water/juice, he barely apologized, blew me off, and then i was told when the check was cut by another employee that he "could have done something" if id mentioned it sooner. Save your $12 on their house cocktails. Adds up fast with a party, and they're not worth it. They serve room temperature tap water and have no bottled water on the menu. Oh, the middle of the steamed egg was rather bitter as well. To the point of overpowering the taste of egg itself. Apart from that, we wanted korean bbq and got it. Nothing extraordinary to speak of, other than their extraordinarily bad drinks.
