I messed up sugar cookies because I apparently don’t know what salt is, so now I’m behind, stressed, and also waiting on hold for the IRS like it’s a theme park ride. I’m too fed up to cook, so we order Bertucci’s. DoorDash brings HALF the food. I call the restaurant, they say try to call DoorDash. DoorDash says “we credited you,” code for you’re still hungry, good luck. So I drive over to pick it up myself. The kid at Bertucci’s is super nice, remakes the missing pizza. I walk outside, and the door uppercuts the box like it owes it money. Pizza goes FLYING. I swore like I was getting audited by the universe. A stranger asks, “You okay?” and the answer was absolutely, “Nope.” I walk back in with my ruined pizza, and the kid looks at me like I survived a war. I ask if I can pay for another one. He refuses. So I tipped him $20 because therapy isn’t in his job description. 10/10 pizza. 100/10 for the kid who saved my sanity. Zero stars to the door. Would order again. Should not be allowed to hold anything.
