- DDDestiniMar 12, 20261.0Couldn't see their name tags so I can only describe by appearance. Female employee 1 Red hair and glasses and Female employee 2 Grey curly hair and glasses. My husband and I stopped at shaws this morning for some last minute items before heading to work. We waited to get to the door at 6am and find its locked, employee 1 responds with "It's not open" and continues to smoke. My husband replies "It's 6am though, can the doors be opened?" To which employee 1 repeats herself and continues to mutter under her breath. Then employee 2 shows up to let employee 1 in only before turning around and waving at us to enter. As I'm headed to the frozen section I catch employee 1 complaining about us to another staff member as if it we were an inconvenience. Once I'm at the self checkout, I catch employee 2 making comments like "You gonna leave enough for other people?" about my husband who was standing by the Pokémon vending machine with the drinks he just purchased. God forbid he takes a look just in case because the machine is usually sold out due to scalpers. Your employees behavior was nothing short of immature and unprofessional. We were neither hostile nor argumentative and arrived within the hours of operation and we're treated with unnecessary animosity because of it. It's not mine or my husband's fault that two senior citizens did not plan their lives accordingly and now have to work at a grocery store to make ends meet. If you don't want to deal with customers at 6am, get a different job or work a different shift.
