Extremely disappointing experience, will not return.
We hosted a birthday event for 24 people and, initially, the planning process was great. The event planner we worked with beforehand was helpful and flexible while we discussed options that would fit our group. During those conversations, we specifically discussed bar options and agreed on an open bar for the event.
The event started off well. Our server was friendly and brought food and drinks for the group. However, about two hours into the event, everything suddenly changed. The entire party was cut off from drinks after a manager saw our server carrying a tray of drinks. This was extremely confusing and frustrating for everyone, especially since the server hadn’t taken a drink order from our group in over an hour and drinks were already taking a long time to arrive.
When the manager spoke with me, they said it was due to “safety concerns” and that the server was uncomfortable serving our group. Meanwhile, the server was casually chatting with members of our party (including my mom) and telling a completely different story. The messaging was inconsistent and made the situation even more frustrating.
To make matters more confusing, the manager then allowed our group one more round at last call, which made the earlier decision to cut off the entire party even harder to understand.
As we were preparing to leave, another manager approached me with a $500 drink bill, claiming we had a prepaid bar tab. This was never outlined in our contract. The manager acknowledged the confusion and agreed that the situation was frustrating, saying the event planning team is corporate and that we would need to follow up with them on Monday.
Overall, the lack of communication, transparency, and coordination between staff was extremely disappointing. If there was a spending limit or issue with the bar service, that should have been clearly communicated to the host at the time so we could decide how to proceed. Cutting off an entire group without explanation especially during a prepaid private event was unacceptable. If there were concerns about specific individuals, those could have been handled directly rather than penalizing the entire party.
Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a fun birthday celebration.
I would not return and would not recommend booking an event here.

I had a very disappointing experience at Topgolf Canton while celebrating my son’s birthday.
First, our server brought a bill showing four players when we only had three teenage boys, which we had to point out and correct. We had also purchased a 2-hour package for up to six people, yet she attempted to charge us an additional $24 that was never disclosed.
What really stood out to me was the lack of transparency in their billing. The server initially presented a bill with only a total and no itemization, which makes it very difficult to understand what you’re actually being charged for. When we finally asked for an itemized bill, we discovered they were expecting a tip based on the total that included the bay rental time, not just the food service.
Most people likely don’t realize the bay time is being included in the tip calculation, because it’s not clearly separated from the food charges. That feels very misleading and seems like a system that takes advantage of customers who don’t question the bill.
The service itself was also poor. Our dinner arrived cold, especially the chicken, and the server never came back to check on us. We actually had to ask another waitress to find her.
We ordered dessert for my son’s birthday 25 minutes before our bay time ended, but it didn’t arrive until 2 minutes when our time was almost up, which was disappointing for a birthday celebration.
To the manager’s credit, he did remove the incorrect charges after we spoke with him, but the overall experience left a bad impression. Between the confusing billing practices , annoyance from the nonresponse server and poor service, it felt like a place that relies on customers not questioning the charges.

Had a great time with friends here. Staff was very friendly and made sure to help us out with everything. Machines were easy to operate. Golf clubs were well maintained. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

Very very Disappointed. I came here with my husband and 3 children. Overall the service was not up to par and included a lot of waiting and inconsistent portions.
We ordered food as soon as we could. Halfway through eating we ordered some chips, cheese and guacamole. We waited and waited and waited. We even paid money to extend our session. The guacamole never came. When I finally saw our server I had her take off the guac. Instead We asked for more chips because we had half a bowl of cheese sauce left and everyone was still hungry. We also asked for some more drinks. Time remaining was 30 minutes. She shows up when we had 4 minutes left with our food then asks if we want to extend. We already extended waiting for our food that never came. When the drinks and salsa and chips finally came they had significantly less volume than the first round. The salsa was in a container half the size and my wine was half the pour as the first but the same price. I honestly think they limit portions so that they move you out faster. I feel so incredibly cheated and will not be returning. Families beware. This is NOT an honest establishment and we need a Chipotle-worthy study of their food, especially the quantities as your time is running out. Our service was terrible and it ruined our night.

I went to this Top Golf 5 times out within a 2-3 month period and I have mixed reviews. The first time it was spectacular. The waiter was great. She took our order, joked around a bit and we had a table in the center of the second floor. The second time was to celebrate my engagement and we were seated all the way in the corner on the first floor which wasn't the best. What made it worse was that the waiter was really bad. She hardly came to us and was rude when we asked for more chips on our 3 seperate orders of chips with dip. She was nice to the people next to us but really ruined our experience with how rude she was and how she hardly asked us if we needed anything. The third time, my group had the same waiter from the second time and this time her service was worse. She only took my order because I asked if she could, and she left after taking my order and didn't ask the other 4 people in my party if they wanted or needed anything. 90% of the time she was standing by the door to the bar talking to another waiter and when she brought our food it was disgusting. Not going to make any assumptions on why but I will say every other day before then the food was excellent. The last time I went to Top Golf, the waiter, the food and the table we had were great. I really enjoyed it but I still saw the waiter that was rude and inattentive and it made me believe that the standards weren't great. I complained to Top Golf after the second and third visit with no response or outreach so I decided after my fourth visit to stop giving this business my money and focus on business where your experience matters and all customers are valued.
