I have dined in this restaurant twice in two years and their taste is the same exquisite and delicious. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant if you are looking forward for a burst of spice experience.

My wife and I ordered the Samosa, Cucumber Salad with Garlic Dressing, the Chicken Rice Noodle, & Beef Noodle Soul. From the first bite, we felt as if we were transported from Cambridge to Xinjiang, without needing a passport. Wonderful dining from wonderful people, and compliments to the chef!

Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine, tucked away on Cambridge Street, is, in my confidently declared opinion and based on the frequent, genuinely awestruck recommendations from fellow food adventurers and culinary-savvy friends, an absolutely essential, high-impact dining destination that offers a rare and incredibly flavorful journey through a cuisine largely unmatched in the greater Boston area. Everyone I’ve spoken with consistently praises the signature hand-pulled laghman noodles, the phenomenal depth and spice balance of the lamb dishes, and the exceptionally friendly staff who are always eager to guide diners through the menu, emphasizing that the restaurant successfully provides an educational and delicious introduction to Uyghur culinary traditions. I’ve learned from their narratives that the atmosphere is one of unpretentious authenticity and focused flavor intensity, making it an exceptional, high-value spot for anyone seeking a truly unique and memorable meal that stands miles apart from standard Asian fusion. My subjective conclusion is that Silk Road is an irreplaceable culinary gem and a must-visit for the adventurous eater - a definite neighborhood star - so do yourself a huge favor and go try their noodles immediately!
Food is good and the customer service inside the restaurant has always been good too. But I'm very disappointed with how the owner continuously mishandled issues I raised, and then finally this week only made excuses for it. Therefore I'm giving 3 stars instead of 4.

Absolutely amazing Uyghur food in Boston! From the moment you walk in, the warm hospitality makes you feel welcome. The flavors are bold, authentic, and unforgettable—perfectly spiced without being overwhelming. The hand-pulled noodles are a must-try: fresh, chewy, and packed with rich, savory sauce. The lamb dishes are tender and fragrant, and every bite tastes like it was made with care and tradition.
Portions are generous, ingredients taste fresh. The staff is friendly and happy to explain dishes, which makes the experience even better. This place is a true hidden gem in Boston and easily one of my favorite spots in the city. I can’t wait to come back!
