I want to start by saying that I love CAVA. My wife and I go often, and we usually visit the Woburn location, which is consistently excellent. Unfortunately, the Burlington location is the complete opposite, and I would strongly recommend staying far away from it.
We went in around 8:00 PM, and this location closes at 10:00 PM, so there was no reason for the experience we had. The lentils were completely dry, and when I asked for more, the employee looked at the chef, who simply shook their head “no” as if making more food was out of the question. I also asked for romaine lettuce, spinach lettuce and white rice and was flat-out told they “can’t do that.”
This wasn’t about being out of food—it was about pure laziness and refusal to provide basic service. At the Woburn location, they are happy to accommodate requests and will even charge extra for what I ask for, which I’m perfectly fine with. The staff there actually understands customer service. At Burlington, the response to everything was basically, “No, we don’t do that.”
Even something as simple as pita chips was denied. At 8 PM, two hours before closing, they refused to make more. Again, the employee looked to the chef, who nodded no—clearly unwilling to make the effort.
This location needs serious retraining. The staff should take notes from the Woburn team, because whatever is happening in Burlington is unacceptable. If you’re considering this CAVA, save yourself the frustration and drive the extra 10 minutes to Woburn, where the food and service actually match the brand.

I wanted to wait at least a month after opening to go to this new location. 2 stars is giving them the benefit of the doubt as they are new... There were about 15 workers behind the line when I got there. only 3 customers ahead of me in line. It took about 10 minutes for me to get through the line, and when I got to check out, I asked about the free Pita that's supposed to come with my Power Salad, the worker looked at me confused and wasn't sure. He finally went to the other end of the line to start warming up a bunch of Pita's, that prolonged my wait. If I'm paying almost $16 for what ended up being a tiny salad (literally a handful of lettuce) I expect you to remember my Pita. My colleague that was picking up lunch through his online order arrived as I was leaving, I made sure to ask about the Pita. (he later returned to our office and mentioned they also forgot his and he had to ask - like give me a break) Given the service, and small portions/price. I won't be returning to this location.

Our visit to this new Cava was disappointing due to major operational hurdles. Service was rocky, with a clear communication breakdown between staff and customers that caused frustration on both sides of the counter.
The restaurant also struggled with cleanliness and availability; most tables were dirty, the pineapple drink had a suspicious foam, and they were already out of the new Chicken Shawarma. When asked, the staff simply replied, "no have." I hope they iron out these bumps soon, but we won't be back for a while.
This is the best CAVA in Mass!
I waited so long for them to open and it did not disappoint.
The place is clean, and the staff is super nice!
On my first visit I was greeted by OneMike while in line, he asked if I had tried the new cinnamon pita and gave me one, it was amazing! Had to get a couple orders of it to-go.
OneMike is definitely an asset to this location and the Cava company, I was a restaurant manager before so i hope his leadership and skills doesn’t go unnoticed here.

First time visiting this location, expecting great service and food. None of that! Portions were skimpy, they messed my order by not including my main meats, messed up ingredients by including other ones. Just a total mess. When I went to let them know about the missing meat portion, they simply took my bowl and put a few pieces in it and gave it back to me. A big violation of health restrictions and codes since containers that have been outside cannot go back in the kitchen/serving area. Just avoid this particular location and go to the Woburn one, much friendlier and better service and quality of food.
