  Two registers open long lines, no one bagging, employees standing around talking. Had a full cart self checkout not an option. Started to bag my stuff after cashier finished scanning all my stuff, just stood there watching me bag. I really had to bite my tongue, after a nasty look from me, she put a few items in a bag. I miss Roche Bros!!!!!

  As far as food affordability and availability this location is a 4 star establishment. What’s costing them two stars is the ever increasing faulty and excessively sensitive weighted scale in self checkout and the monitoring camera system that just blatantly lies after you ring up an item and place it down. The little help light goes off and of course there’s two other self checkout customers in need of help too. “Go to s human cashier” you say, ok well next time i might

  I’m very disappointed with the Stop & Shop in Braintree. Tonight I bought grapes and three 5-gallon waters at self-checkout. The system needed assistance for the grapes, and the manager came over without said anything at begging and later she said had to check “in case people steal grapes.” That was insulting and unprofessional. Then she overcharged me for five waters instead of three. I asked if she fixed it before I paid, and she said yes—but my receipt still showed the extra charges. When I went to customer service, she followed me there but refused to help me just ask me to wait, and another cashier told me that the same elderly woman is actually the manager!!! I was shocked again. So I waited about 10 minutes, she still had not helped me. When I reminded her that I had been waiting first, she told me there were “many other customers” and went back to self-checkout, leaving my issue unresolved. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I have always thought of Braintree as a nice town with friendly people, but this experience at Stop & Shop was the opposite. If a manager cannot provide respectful and efficient service, perhaps it is time for her to consider stepping back from this role. Just go home to take care of your grandchildren!!! Customers deserve to be treated with professionalism and care, especially when mistakes are made by the store! I won’t come back here. Shaw has better customer service and young people there.

  I was sold outdated tomatoes last week. I called 2 days ago and the customer service rep stated that they were open till 8 and to bring them in. Apparently the service desk is open until 7. I came in and the acting manager told me no sorry closed at 7 without even looking at me when I explained how the lady had told me otherwise. You think they would have tried to assist....weymouth is so much nicer and better.
