My boyfriend and I visited Zuma for the first time this past week while on a trip to Boston. We went with the premium omakase. I was expecting mostly sushi but was pleasantly surprised by the food the was brought to us. Each round better than the last. It was 100% worth the cost with not only the amount of food but what was included in the courses. Some examples include tempura lobster, Wagyu, sushi and nigiri with caviar and black truffle shavings, Chilean sea bass and more. Their lychee martinis were great, sweet but also strong. Our server(s) was super sweet and attentive. Will definitely come back whenever we have a chance!

My friends and I came into Zuma this past Thursday and we had a 10/10 experience, actually a 100/10. As soon as you walk in, you feel the intensity and sexiness of the restaurant. Low lighting, upbeat instrumentals and just a lively energy. People are coming in to feel that energy and it shows. My girls and I were seated near the back of the restaurant, we sat down and were greeted within 1 minute. That just tells you what you need to know about the service at this restaurant. Effective and efficient. Special shoutout to Sunny for being our server, he made sure to let us have our time yet make sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Same level of service throughout the whole staff, everyone bringing over food, clearing and cleaning our table and just making sure we are enjoying ourselves. The food is fresh and everything comes out on 10. The chef’s have a very impressive ethic in that kitchen, they are extremely detailed and skilled. Some of my favorites have got to be, the special toro maki, the grilled Chilean seabass along with the miso black cod, the roasted potato, I could go on and on. Try all of it. Same with the drinks, special shout out to the Geishi Smash. We had a wonderful time and it was the perfect place to come out with friends for a celebration. Thank you to everyone who works at Zuma for making this night to special to us!!!!🥂✨❤️‍🔥

This used to be one of my favorite places and the tasting menu was amazing years ago, but I got the classic omakase last night and it was not worth the $, the value is terrible and we received mostly vegetables... if you go just get nigiri and the dessert platter. I wouldn't recommend for special occasions.

Amazing food and service, with great selection of sake. The omakase dinner was very generous. The fish were of good quality, with interesting seasoning delivering a fine taste. The cod with miso butter mustard sauce was cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth. The beef was perfectly cooked as well, juicy and tender. The dessert board was insanely generous and beautiful to look at, with ice creams that are likely home made, a chocolate lava cake to die for and a very interesting cheesecake kind of crème brûlée. The only downside was the music that was way too loud.

Terrible omakase—the worst experience I've ever had. Main course: salmon teriyaki, grilled filet mignon, and corn? You guys have got to be kidding me. This isn't even remotely an Omakase. They completely lost the plot—both in terms of concept and variety. This is the first time in my life I’ve gone to a Japanese restaurant and been served an omakase where 90% of the food was cooked. Not fresh at all, hardly anything raw, zero quality. Disappointed!
