Don't expect much. My steak bowl was gross. The Lobster Rolls were overcooked. My husband waited forever to get the wrong drink. The waitress didn't know what was on the menu. We have been to real Margheritavilles, this place doesn't compare.

30 minutes, that’s how long we waited for anyone to address us at our table. All we had to distract our hunger pains was the menu and the frankly absurd prices they wanted to charge us for their mediocre looking food. We wanted to spend our money here for some reason so we sent one of our party to find anyone in an ugly cabana shirt. We didn’t find one so we left, thankfully we didn’t even have waters to leave behind, they wouldn’t have the staff required to properly clean our tables if they did. Take your family here if you want them to learn patiences, if you love your family go to Chinatown

Nine of us ate here, all disappointed. Food was not good. Service was worse. Would not waste your time going here. Edit: I did get a response to my review which was appreciated. I emailed as requested to make them aware of the issues but have yet to receive any follow-up.

The vibes at this restaurant are amazing. However today I wanted to treat my cousin out as it was her first time in Boston. We arrived at the restaurant around 6:45pm which is about 4 hours before they closed I believe. Our server came over to our table around 7:20pm to ask if we wanted something to drink and we ordered 2 drinks. Once the server came back with our drinks at around 7:30 we placed in order for drinks and our food. As we were drinking and enjoying our time, we realized that it was now 8:03 and our food was not at our table. A server then proceeded to come to our table and told us that their WiFi was down and our order was not captured. Mind you they took our order down on paper! That alone struck a chord. The server then asked if we like to order our food and was then only told that what we wanted which was chicken tacos and an entree called the chicken and biscuits was not available. So I decided that hey I will try one more time to order a desert instead. As I ordered the desert we asked to speak to the manager. The manager came to our table to hear what we had to say and I explained that I was not upset but a little frustrated that we waited to be told our food order was not available and was not told a timely manner. The manager offered to give us the dessert for free. As he said that he asked what drinks did we have and we told him the 3 drinks and 2 coronas that we had. He the manager said “oh that’s all you had coronas are trash while waving his hand” maybe he was trying to imply that was cheap or maybe he thought that’s all we had according to the drinks that were left on the table. It is now 8:20 and we just received our check for our drinks. Overall I would never leave a bad review even if that the food was trash but tonight I’m leaving a review based off the simple fact that service was not rendered appropriately. I am not even going to mention the fact that we are black females or women of color which I try not to believe should matter. However in this case I truly believe That is the only reason that we were not seen or properly treated by the staff and management here tonight. In conclusion the drinks were great as well as the vibes but the service that we received tonight was not what we expected. PS. It is how 8:24 pm and a couple about 2 tables over received chicken tacos!! Sincerely, A willing paying customer. Not “your average person of color”

If you ever find yourself in Margaritaville Boston, prepare for a truly memorable experience—equal parts tropical escape and unexpected comedy show. Let’s start with the straws. Nothing says “premium hygiene” quite like that little piece of paper still clinging on for dear life. Why remove it when you can enjoy the thrill of peeling it off yourself like a grown-up Capri Sun? Honestly, it adds a layer of suspense to every sip—will it come off cleanly, or will it disintegrate into your drink? Five stars for interactive dining. Now, the real highlight: Mike the bartender. This man doesn’t just serve drinks—he delivers a full personality package with every pour. Equal parts stand-up comedian, therapist, and margarita artist, Mike made sure our glasses were full and our faces hurt from laughing. If charisma were a cocktail, he’d be the house special. And then there’s Andy—absolute legend. Quick wit, perfect timing, and the kind of humor that sneaks up on you mid-bite. Between Mike and Andy, we weren’t sure if we came for dinner or a live comedy show, but we’re not complaining. So yes, come for the margaritas, stay for the paper-on-straw adventure, and leave because your cheeks hurt from laughing. Highly recommend. 🍹If you ever find yourself in Margaritaville Boston, prepare for a truly memorable experience—equal parts tropical escape and unexpected comedy show. Let’s start with the straws.
