I don’t usually write reviews but after today i definitely had to leave one. I’ve had multiple experiences with this chipotle but this is absolutely the last time I will be going there. Food was good as always but for some reason their portions get smaller and smaller every time. I had to ask for more after already ordering double chicken. The workers always seem to have an attitude when attending you. I speak fluent Spanish but order my food in English. Without knowing that I could understand them, they started talking about how complicated I was ordering simply because I asked for more chicken. Every other location I have ate at never gave me any of these problems. Between the food portions and the unprofessional/rude staff, I will not be eating here anymore.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience at Chipotle Mexican Grill was frustrating from start to finish.
First, the service was extremely careless. The employee taking my order barely acknowledged me, rushed through the line, and didn’t seem interested in getting anything right. The portions were also noticeably smaller than what you’d expect, especially considering the prices. The scoop of rice was uneven and skimpy, the protein portion looked like half a serving compared to what I’ve gotten at other locations, and I had to ask for a reasonable amount of toppings. Even then, it felt like they were guarding the food like it was coming out of their paycheck.
Cleanliness was another issue. Several tables were dirty, the drink station was sticky, and the trash bins were overflowing. The floor had visible debris, and the overall atmosphere just felt neglected. It didn’t feel like anyone had done a proper wipe-down in a while. For a restaurant that serves food assembly-line style in front of customers, cleanliness should be a basic standard.
Overall, the combination of inattentive service, weak portions, and lack of cleanliness made this one of the worst experiences I’ve had at this chain. I expect better consistency and professionalism, especially from a brand that markets itself as high-quality and fresh. Definitely disappointing…

The food is good as always but the girl at the register was very rude. And this is not the first time I had this experience with rudeness at this location. 283 Washington St. Boston! Something needs to be done about this ongoing issue, seriously!
It’s always something at this location. Every time I order from here. It’s always an issue. The last time I ordered from this location to pick up someone stole my food. When I tried to tell the staff that I put in an online order and it’s not there to pick up, they expected me to have my food remade and pay again and refused to give me a refund. Now tonight I ordered through Uber Eats and my burrito bowls were flipped and thrown in the bag and my food spilled in the bag and one of the bowls was smushed. The bag was sealed so I know it wasn’t the driver. The employees had to do it. I didn’t even eat it because it looked like my food was played with.
I don't know what's happened to this place. Let me walk you through what just happened to me:
I walked in, as i do quite often as i work close by. I politely asked for a bowl, and the woman helping me with a frown on her face starts going through the motions, when she asked me for the protein, i asked for chicken, and the chicken was basically empty. She scooped what was about... 8 pieces maybe, literally scraped the bin out and put the smallest portion i have ever been given by any of these establishments. I told her i can wait for more if theres more coming, and she just looked at me with a straight mean look and said that i would have to pay extra. I looked at her, and politely pointed to the bowl next to her that she just made and then at mine, and said it looks very light, if i could just get a bit extra. As she turned around to get more chicken which was readily available in their warmer, a gentleman took over for her and started courting me down the line. I told him i was looking for a bit more chicken and he also said that's extra. He has this face on like he's checkmating or something, i don't know what the deal was, but i politely asked just for a bit more, and he double down and said it would be extra. I looked at him, tired of this stupid game that seems to always happen HERE specifically, and said if it's extra, i'll just go somewhere else. He said "okay, go." and then proceeded to throw the whole bowl in the trash.
Man just sat there and wasted food just because i politely asked to just get matched up to the person next to me, who did not ask for anything extra. So i walked out. Completely unprofessional, downright rude and offensive attitude honestly.
So you know what i did? I walked up the street to the new anna's that just opened up a couple blocks away. I walked in there, asked for basically the same order only in a burrito, nothin extra, the guy loads me up a thing that's the size of my entire forearm. Did it with a smile. I told him what just happened to me here at this Chipotle, and we had a good laugh about it. I tipped that guy 2 bucks for being godlike in comparison to the miserable people of this establishment.
I don't know what would possess someone to be so rude to a regular customer. I don't honestly know why i got such bad there. But this is just the last time i'm ever coming back here. It's just not worth it. It's not been worth it for a long time, but this was just the last straw. I don't care that i have to walk further to get to the other place. I would much rather be greeted with a smile, better food, better portions, and a better atmosphere than whatever this place is trying to be.
Unless their entire staff changes, i just can't recommend it. Not with so many better options near by.
You might have also noticed the response from "chipotle" at the bottom asking me to contact them. Oh did, exactly how they asked. I have never received a response from them after using that contact us form. It's not the first time I've tried, either. They don't actually care. They respond the exact same way on every review platform, and never follow up, almost automatically after a bad review just to make it look like they give a crap. They don't.
