  We went there for lunch during the week. The ambiance was good. The service was great. The food was excellent. We sat at a table, not the bar. I got the Shepherd's Pie, and it was amazing. My brother got the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was good. I would recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.

  As a British expat, I was excited for a full English. I’ve often gone to Irish pubs in the area for breakfast and had good experiences. Unfortunately, this was an American’s interpretation of an English breakfast: American bbq beans, American bacon, a sweet sausage. I’ll come back for lunch to try the pies and fish because the service and atmosphere were okay—but next time I want a full English, I’ll get a full Irish at one of Irish pubs nearby who use imported ingredients.

During our visit, we enjoyed both the food and the drinks, with a menu that includes classic options such as omelets and a traditional English breakfast. While the , the overall experience was still very enjoyable, and every other component of the meal was executed well. The combination of a welcoming ambiance, quality food, and well-crafted beverages made the visit memorable. The attentive service and comforting environment further enhanced the dining experience, encouraging us to take our time and savor each dish. Based on this experience, we plan to return, confident that future visits will be equally enjoyable and satisfying.

  I couldn’t resist trying the restaurant’s home-style menu offerings, which included the shepherd’s pie, steak and mushroom pie, and chicken pot pie. Each dish reflects careful preparation and attention to classic comfort flavors. The shepherd’s pie was rich and hearty, with a perfectly seasoned filling and a smooth, golden mashed potato topping. The steak and mushroom pie offered a robust, savory combination, highlighting tender meat and earthy mushrooms encased in flaky pastry. The chicken pot pie delivered a comforting, well-balanced mix of tender chicken and vegetables in a creamy sauce, wrapped in a crisp, golden crust. Together, these dishes exemplify the restaurant’s commitment to providing high-quality, satisfying home-style meals.   Elephant & Castle in Boston is a fantastic spot for a great night out. During our first five‑day stay last year, it quickly became our go‑to place every evening, the perfect way to end each day. This year we returned to Boston for six days and once again found ourselves at Elephant & Castle almost daily—and it was just as excellent as before. A special shoutout goes to 𝙅𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙮 𝙂. behind the bar. He crafted exceptional cocktails and poured perfectly chilled beers every time. His Old Fashioned is truly legendary. The atmosphere in the pub is warm, welcoming, and instantly makes you feel at home. Another highlight from our previous trip was the breakfast offered at the adjoining hotel (this year we stayed elsewhere). The variety ranged from good to very good and left a great impression. All in all, Elephant & Castle is a place I highly recommend—thanks to *** 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐲’𝐬 *** outstanding service and the consistently wonderful experience. Cheers!
