It was my 1st visit since I don’t live in Boston. Music was great however tables and chairs were too close and really uncomfortable. My drink did not show up after 30 minutes, then I got it however they charged me double.

Great venue for anyone looking for good food and a variety of drinks while catching a show this is the place to for it. Servers were amazing right ontop of things. Food was delicious, great portion size and reasonably priced. The show we saw was AMAZING. We saw ZZ Ward, the acoustic were great!

Went to see Isaac Slade (formerly of The Fray) live at City Winery. Traveled 5 hours from out of town. Staff was great greeting us and getting us food/wine before the show started, and that continued throughout the show. Which was not ideal lol. I worked a bar for several years, and when we had shows/performances, we’d at least make an effort not to interrupt the paying audience. I know it’s hard, and business must go on, but the noise-level coming from the bar completely interrupted the show several times. And the staff talking/laughing/making noise didn’t seem to phase anyone behind the bar. Not only that, but the waiter, who was friendly and all, came up to my table mid-performance, interrupted the song and asked if we could settle our bills before last call. Just very frustrating to deal with when you pay for a show you’ve been waiting for for a while! Despite this, really cool venue and made for a nice, intimate show. And the wine selection was good

It’s really a beautiful venue and we did see an excellent show. The food was fantastic but the charcuterie board was sad looking for $40. We ordered a meat pizza, mushroom pizza, garlic palm fries 4 coca-colas and 4 beers it cost $235. The prices are out of control and absolutely outrageous! Your table has a minimum of $100 to be spent. Parking costs ($40-$65) there are a few garages within walking distance but nothing convenient.

Please read below all of the complaints about seating. They are 100% true and may help you in choosing your seats We were lucky and had 2 end seats , facing the stage. It was so crowded, tables wobbling , no place to move. Had we not been facing the stage, it would have been extremely difficult to see what was going on and no room to turn your head. We were also fortunate to have a good table service. The waitress was very attentive. After the show we went upstairs wanting to do a wine tasting We asked one of the waiters on the wine tasting side what our options were. He just kept saying "its like a tasting" with an attitude. We tried to ask more info to understand pricing etc.. and all he could say was "its like a tasting" Very strange interaction soo we left.
