  If you shop here regularly, eventually you will have bought all of the shelved stock for a particular product, and they won't typically re-stock it for several months. It's not clear why this location does not utilize the inventory management system used chain-wide across all Stop & Shops, or if this particular store is just so mismanaged that they never put the received product out. The checkout usually has two registers open. On the bright side, since most of what you are shopping for is out of stock, it won't take you long to scan and bag your order in the undersized and always overcrowded self-checkout pen. Save your time and go to Franklin, unless you're fine with getting half of the items on your list, and leaving the store with the same uncompleted grocery chore that you walked in with.

  This place could be better. You really have to look at the dates of just about every product, especially in their meat department. Breads as well. I've seen some terrible browning meat not in the reduced for quick sale section but in with the regular stuff. Looks terrible. Some of the employees like cashiers and those filling orders to be picked up are rude parking their huge carts in the middle of the aisle so no one can get by.

  Personally every time I have gone to this store, I have had no issues. Though last night, while picking out some cards in the corner of the store, I overheard an unprofessional interaction between two supervisors (I am assuming) and an employee. In fact, I couldn’t even access all of the cards because they were having this conversation out in the open in front of one of the shelves. I felt quite embarrassed for the employee, and uncomfortable to be right there. Nobody was trying to be discreet. If I didn’t need the cards then and there, I would have left. They knew I was there, but they made no effort to move to a different location (perhaps an office?). Yikes!
