  We were so happy to work with Chef David for such a special celebration, my daughter’s baby shower. The food was outstanding, and David was wonderful to work with — attentive, responsive, and so thoughtful every step of the way.

  We hired David Verdo Catering for our wedding in September 2025. While the bar service and next-day brunch were very good, the cocktail hour and wedding dinner did not meet what was contracted or promised. There were unapproved menu substitutions and missing items (including lobster rolls that were never served and spanakopita that was replaced with samosas without notice), multiple food quality issues, and service problems including no wine service during dinner, uneven pacing between tables, shortages for children’s meals, and confusion around dietary accommodations. Despite our expectation, David was not present or reachable on the wedding day, and we were not informed of his absence or given a reason until he arrived to cater brunch the following morning. As a result, we were forced to manage and escalate issues ourselves with the staff during cocktail hour and the reception, which was frustrating and took time away from being with our friends and family on our wedding day. After weeks of back and forth, David agreed to a partial refund, but as of mid-January 2026, only a fraction of that agreed refund has been paid, despite repeated assurances and missed timelines after now months of requests for payment. We tried to resolve this privately and in good faith, but have run out of patience. Based on both the execution of the event and the difficulty resolving the issue afterward, we do not recommend this vendor.

  DAVID catered a private dinner for 15 in my home, it was professional from start to finish. Every course was better than the next, and he made it look so easy, and the service was seamless. I strongly recommend David and his team.

  David recently catered our backyard wedding. EVERYONE raved over how delicious the buffet was. So many yummy choices cooked fresh on the premises. Thank you David for making our day even more special

  David did a dinner for 10 at my home. Food was delicious. I didn’t lift a finger. And when he left, the kitchen was spotless.
