We recently ordered catering from Monica’s Mithai Cafe & Bar, and it was an absolute hit! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. The menu offered a creative fusion of traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist, and every dish was beautifully presented. Everything was rich, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The recipes are thoughtfully curated to meet your guests’ needs, with a great balance of comforting and bold flavors that truly impressed everyone. It’s honestly one of the first Indian restaurants in New England that I’ve come across that delivers such a high-end, elevated experience. What truly sets this place apart is the owner, Monica. She is incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cares about delivering a great experience. She has such a natural eye for art and design and can truly bring your vision to life. The best part is how customizable the catering is—she works closely with you to tailor the menu to your needs and even creates a personalized portfolio for your event, making future catering decisions so much easier. And it doesn’t stop at the food—this is truly a one-stop shop. What other food vendor has a curated network of talented professionals, from musicians to décor, all available to elevate your event? Even her personal designer is amazing, adding that extra level of sophistication and detail. Portion sizes were generous, everything arrived fresh and on time, and the attention to detail truly showed. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food, and several asked where it was from! If you’re looking for unique, high-quality catering that will elevate your event, Monica’s Mithai Cafe & Bar is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

A must-try spot for food lovers, offering unique Indian fusion dishes that truly satiate your palate . As someone with a serious sweet tooth, I was delighted to try the perfectly balanced Cham-Cham mithai, which had an authentic Indian taste and just the right level of sweetness . We also recently catered food from Monica for a birthday party and were thoroughly impressed with the snacks — especially the paneer sliders, paneer spring rolls, and makhani mac & cheese . The spice levels were perfectly suited for kids. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore creative Indian fusion flavors!

Monica’s Café in Andover, MA is an absolute gem that truly stands out. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. One of the biggest highlights is the incredible variety on the menu. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a fresh and flavorful lunch, or just a quick coffee and pastry, there’s something for everyone. The options are thoughtfully curated, and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. What really impressed me was the efficiency—despite how popular the place is, the wait time is very reasonable. Even during busy hours, the staff keeps things moving smoothly without making you feel rushed. And speaking of staff, the service is truly exceptional. The team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about making your experience enjoyable. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every interaction. Monica’s Mithai Shop in Andover is a true standout and a delightful addition to the local culinary scene. I visited with family friends and was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the overall experience. The space offers a cozy, thoughtfully designed café ambiance that feels calm and inviting—ideal for enjoying a relaxed outing. Every item we tried reflected freshness and careful preparation. The highlight of the visit was the Palak Crunch Chaat, which was exceptionally well executed and undoubtedly a must-try. The Paneer Kati Roll was also very tasty, and the Samosa Bliss dish was equally delectable. The sweets were impressive as well, showcasing authentic flavors and a clear attention to detail. It’s also a great spot if you’re looking for flavorful vegetarian options. The masala chai deserves special mention—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, it was easily the highlight of my experience. Service was prompt and genuinely warm, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The entire experience felt well worth the price, and I would gladly return. If you’re in the area and in the mood for good Indian snacks and sweets in a relaxed setting, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I stopped by Monica Mithai Café in Andover today for a takeout order of two chai lattes, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite the café not being busy, there were no greetings, no acknowledgment, and we stood there unsure of how to order until the woman behind the counter finally asked if we were ready. That alone set the tone. While placing our order, the staff member walked away twice to do other tasks, forcing me to repeat the order multiple times. We originally asked for one hot Irani chai and one iced saffron chai. After waiting, we were told they were out of saffron, so we changed it to two Irani chais—one hot, one iced. What we received were two hot chai lattes. I explained again that one was supposed to be iced (I had already said it several times). The woman took one of the hot drinks, muttered under her breath, and instead of remaking it properly, she dumped some out and added ice directly into the hot drink in the same to‑go cup. At that point, I was so frustrated I didn’t even bother saying anything else. We tasted the drinks, and they were honestly terrible. Between the poor service, the attitude, and the careless preparation, this was a complete miss. I won’t be returning.
