  ​I have lived across the street from this McDonald’s since 2018 and have been a loyal customer for nearly 8 years. I’m 61 years old, and I come here all the time. Today was the last straw. ​I ordered a cheeseburger, small fries, and a hot tea. I asked for a large cup for the tea but asked to be charged for a small, because it is one tea bag regardless of the size. I’m not asking for extra food or free coffee—I’m asking for a splash more of hot water. The difference is 30 cents. ​The assistant manager and the manager both refused, hiding behind "rules" and corporate buttons. They would rather lose a neighbor and a regular customer over 30 cents of hot water than show an ounce of common sense or hospitality. ​This location (Chickering Rd, North Andover) has a terrible attitude. They are unfriendly, they close early whenever they feel like it, and they act like robots instead of human beings. If you are looking for a place that values loyalty or basic human respect, go somewhere else. This is one of the worst-managed McDonald’s in the country. Absolutely pathetic service.

  I am a regular customer, 61 years old, who frequently visits this location. On my recent visit, I requested a large cup of hot black tea, but offered to pay the small price since it’s just one tea bag and hot water. The assistant manager and manager both refused without any polite explanation. Instead, the response felt cold and dismissive. I believe a bit more understanding and courtesy could greatly improve the customer experience.” Complete lack of common sense. Avoid this location.

  I visited on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 12:30 AM, and the service was completely unacceptable. I waited over 10 minutes just to receive my food, which shows a serious lack of organization and respect for customers’ time. What made the experience even worse was the cashier’s attitude—extremely rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Management seriously needs to address this. I will not be returning.

  Ordered Large 5b in drive-thru; 3 pc Chicken Strip with soda and fries, with Honey Mustard. They did not give a receipt, confused my order, questioned me about what I ordered, and eventually gave me a Diet Coke while they argued. I had asked for regular coke, not diet. I did eventually receive lukewarm chicken strips after waiting in front of the drive thru. Never received my sauce. Additionally, (and this is likely McDonald's issue overall and not this location's specific problem) the chicken strips had large rubbery tendon pieces. Never again. I regret this entire stop and wish I eaten virtually anything else, including gas station hot dogs. I gave atmosphere 3 stars because the drive-thru was relatively clean.
