Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported excessively long wait times, often exceeding 30 minutes, even during non-peak hours.

Wait time is LONG. Do not go here if you have somewhere to be in the next hour! Could have gone to eat Texas Roadhouse and been done sooner. Price would have been about the same. Rude workers. Will not return.

Out of everything, long long long wait for food in the drive thru. It wasn't even that busy. Just not good service.
We had to sit for around 20mins from order to food.

Lazy! I've been to multiple Whataburger locations and this is one of the worst. When they get busy, they close the dining room. Also, I ordered a double whataburger and they scammed me with a double whataburger jr. They are constantly pushing incorrect orders. Whoever the store manager is needs to be relieved or reminded of the standards of the business.

We were traveling to Texas for a week with my mom. We were stopping for the night and wanted a quick meal at one of our w as favorite places. The service was okay at first, but I ordered a special drink that had to be made by hand. Unfortunately, there was another couple that needed to be helped and I had to wait. No problem. After waiting about ten minutes, I went back to get my drink. She had forgotten about it and went to the back to fix it. After half an hour waiting for our meal, I went back to check on it. The lady at the drive thru went to the back and got it for us. I have never had to wait 30 minutes at Whataburger! Very disappointed.

Came to eat on a Tuesday thru the drive thru while my teen was at the movies woman at the speaker acted like she couldn't hear over my truck rudely asked me to shut my truck off or she wouldn't take my order. I told her I would speak louder which I did and NO RESPONSE. I chose to reverse in the drive thru and leave because regardless there was already stack of vehicles in front. ---- Combat Veteran Review. This restaurant is not Veteran friendly.
