I came with high expectations, as I love Chef Alon’s other restaurants, and I was not disappointed.
We ordered the whole fried chicken and 2 was perfect. Juicy, and delicious. The cocktails were also creative and beautifully complex.
Our server Malik was wonderful, and took very good care of us.

Miss River, located inside the Four Seasons New Orleans, was such a great dining experience for our family of four! The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, yet still welcoming. They easily accommodated us and our two girls, who loved how “fancy” it felt. Our server, Matt, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations and really added to our experience.
We started with the sweet potato brioche, and it was absolutely incredible - soft, warm, and melt-in-your-mouth good. The butter they served with it complemented it perfectly! I ordered the New York strip, and it was simply amazing - one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. My husband got the redfish courtbouillon and really enjoyed it as well.
Everything from the service to the food was top-notch. We’d definitely come back the next time we’re in New Orleans!
