Fairly long wait to get food and a long wait to get a table. You need to keep your eyes peeled and immediately go for a table if someone gets up. All of the food is delicious of course except the bacon, egg and cheese was a bit bland. The sweet tea was probably my favorite part other than the beignets of course. We just got the powdered sugar, but they have chocolate ones as well. The service is also very quick and they sell magnets and keychains as well as some stuff to go but I secured the table while someone else ordered so I’m not sure of the particulars. There is also a bar.

We had 2 sandwiches, one decature sandwich and one veggie sandwich, the Decatur was cheese with ham thrown into a dry bun, the tomato, salad and pickles were just put next to the sandwich into the box. While waiting for our food, we where told 3 times to not stand in their way and every time we went to wait somewhere else, a waiter told us to just stand somewhere else. When we went to the bar to wait, the barkeeper told us very rudely that there are no kids allowed at the bar, and Added that we should be able to see the beer taps. We did not try the beignets, maybe they are good, but the service isn't.

Terrible customer service!!!
They clearly don’t know anything about coffee.
Everything is just espresso with milk, and they’re extremely rude when you ask why you were given coffee with milk instead of a latte.
Do yourselves a favor and replace the cashier with someone who actually knows customer service.

We had breakfast at Café Beignet while exploring the French Quarter and really enjoyed our stop here. The breakfast was very good and a relaxed way to start the day in New Orleans.
Of course, we also tried the beignets, and they were fresh, warm and generously dusted with powdered sugar, exactly how they should be. The coffee was a perfect match.
The building itself is beautiful and full of character, and it’s a lovely place to sit and take your time while the city comes to life around you. A great spot for a relaxed and enjoyable breakfast in the heart of the French Quarter.

After trying out the beignets from Cafe Du Monde and Loretta’s, we wanted to try out the beignets from Cafe Beignet to settle once and for all – which of these 3 famous beignets, is the best beignet in New Orleans.
This time, we ordered the handmade beignets from Cafe Beignet (3 for $5) and also the Cafe au lait ($5). Firstly, the beignets from all three cafes were warm. However, Loretta’s were the most expensive ($8), the smallest and the outer layer was much too crisp – so they’re out of the race.
As for the decider on whether the beignes from Cafe du Monde was better or that the beignets from Cafe Beignet was better – both Tom and Kate were divided...
