  I was on a conference in New Orleans I came across this restaurant which was awesome the taste the food the staff everything was just perfect..I rate this restaurant food 10/10..

  I had very high hopes for this restaurant. I work next door at Sake Cafe, the sushi spot, and while I will never get bored of eating sushi, sometimes i just want to switch it up. I love flavors and spices and sauces. I love being able to take something simple and make it magical. Since id never ordered from here before, i decided to do something small before i ordered an entree and multiple sides. I was tempted to to with one of the curries or saucey dishes, but i figured a good place to start would be a simple piece of butter roti with raita. I waited quite a while .. 15 to 20 minutes maybe? I didnt mind because i knew it meant the roti was being cooked fresh, warm, doughy, and gooey with butter. When it finally came, I opened my bag to grab a bite .. it was dry, cold and butterless. Just like an old tortilla. I tried the yogurt sauce thinking maybe it would be the bomb and i wouldnt care about the roti. Nope. The raita was watery and flavorless. So, im glad i didnt order a big meal. I asked for a refund, they seemed confused. The host asked if i wanted her to take it to the back and add butter. No. She had to make a phone call but they did give me my $8 back. I was hoping that this place would be really good because i have no problem ordering $100 worth of dishes I've never tried on days when im bored and hungry, or to get something different and close by while at work. I am still willing to give them another shot. I know what i ordered isnt typically a very flavorful menu choice, but roti is also an Indian staple, and in my head, if you can cook a good roti, then you couldnt go wrong with ANYTHING on the menu. Still looking for a good indian spot in uptown

  The staff is very accommodating, I accidentally placed incorrect order but they were lovely about it. I had the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani. Tasted pretty good and fresh! The chicken was nicely done. Just wish it was spicier. Would love if they offered different levels of spice. I have been in the restaurant as well and the decor is cute!

  Was spending the day in Uptown/Garden District and after many days of fried food, I knew I wanted to go back to some good old Indian flavor. Had the malai kofta and paneer tikka masala which were both phenomenal. Indian spicy is true Indian spice - amazing!! Service was fast, restaurant clean, and overall a great dinner!
