Great place to enjoy a local brew while you wait to take a horse carriage ride around the quarter. The oysters they serve here were some of the best we had our entire time in New Orleans. Not sure if they get them from the same area as Acme but we found these more to our liking. Reminded me of those good Virginia oysters. We like them more Briney and not as huge as the ones from Acme. Still love Acme but very impressed with the oysters here.

The walk up bar was amazing but I was berated by the electric bass guitarist for purchasing and having a conversation with the bartender who I've known and patronized for years. Maybe he had a bad day, but it will be the last bad day he has because of me.....and I tipped him.

TESTIFY!!
This place is soooo good. We grabbed dinner here while in town for training a few weeks back and were pleasantly surprised.
Great atmosphere, service, and even live music! Great New Orleans flavor and feel.
We started with some bang bang shrimp and it was incredible!! Amazing flavor combination with signature creole touch.
I had the crescent city trio with bbq shrimp and grits, cajun gumbo, and shrimp etouffee. Wow! It was all so delicious.
The history of this place is also incredible and well worth a visit. We look forward to going back one day.

The worst food we had on our NOLA trip, hands down. We got Parmesan fries as an appetizer and those arrived cold and chewy. We asked for a new batch and although those came out slightly better, they weren’t anything special. For our meals, two of us had mac and cheese which was served pressed into a brick with stale, chewy cheese and had uncooked raw noodles. The crawfish etoufee had absolutely zero flavor and the crawfish themselves were rubbery and chewy. No NOLA spice and charm to this classic dish. The brisket was full of fat and had no taste. Our server was very nice and helpful and the hostess was also friendly. The restaurant itself looks great and has a nice atmosphere, but we won’t be back because of the food.
