Our coffee is sourced locally from roasters with over 30 years of experience roasting their own blends. Café Beignet is proud to continue the tradition of serving Chicory Coffee, first introduced by the French to New Orleans when it was still a colony of France. Chicory is a plant that is roasted through a similar process as coffee beans. Coffee and chicory are grounded separately and then combined, resulting in a most unique taste. New Orleanians have developed a love for its bolder flavor and we hope you will too! Since 1990, Café Beignet has four locations in the French Quarter with another on the way. Each of our locations offers something unique to its visitors, including live jazz, cocktails, outdoor seating (with pet friendly areas), and classic New Orleans dishes to complement our beignets. With an abundance of local flavors, you will find only the best in food and drinks at Café Beignet!

    Two extremes exist here. Food is worst in all of New Orleans but music and atmosphere is awesome. Food was smothered in white rice as a filler, seafood was incredibly overcooked to the point I threw most of it in the trash. Come here only for the music and drinks.

    I purchased the shrimp basket, it was overcooked and dried out. It was a waste of my money. I ordered the beignet, again not so great. They were fresh, just not flavorful. Nothing to brag about. The server brings your order to the table, he brings the wrong order. I now have to wait an additional 10-15 minutes. The atmosphere was great. They have live music, a band.

    Love the location and layout. Love that they have live music and when I/we were there, there were places to sit and enjoy. They did NOT allow us to bring our drinks in, even though we told them we were just getting beignets to go and leaving (not the biggest letdown) just annoying. No one seemed happy to be working there, from the door person to the cashiers to the bartender (and we were there like 11 am) the beignets were not as good as I've had other places (even the original location.) Was it because they were in a to go bag? Was it because the sugar was all clumped? Was there not enough sugar? The outside seemed over cooked and yet the inside was doughy.

    Had my wedding reception here and can’t rave enough about this place! The staff and coordinator were AMAZING and made my vision come to life perfect. The food was delicious and my guests can’t stop talking about how much fun they had. Everything was perfect.

    Y'all need a sign AT LEAST THAT SAYS PUT YOUR ORDER IN AT THE CAFE !! Because as new comers first time there we sat for a long while waiting for someone to bring us menu. Then we just walked up and ask someone... And for that I put only 3 ⭐ on service and atmosphere. I got the Beignet which come in 3 . I ate one while there, they was good and hot, a lil to much power sugar when I went to eat it the power got all over us lol
