It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Stopped here at 5:10am. I was in the drive through and a voice came on telling me they aren't taking orders right now. I asked if they were open 24hrs and the person said yes but not right now.

    Went to order at drive through Dec 24 at 5.45 pm . Website said open until 6. Black man at the window said..we closed. Took other folks order. Shady and rude. Website should say last order taken at 5.45. Won't be back.

    Horribly understaffed for 7 pm on a Friday night, servers are nice but the line for inside dining was 8 deep. It was more like waiting at a doctor’s office than fast food. If you would like to wait 20 minutes for a drink and a fry this is your place.
