- PMpamela mroskoFeb 17, 20262.0My $60.00 filet came to the table grey. It looked more like it was cooked under the heat lamp than on the grill. The “flavor” was nonexistent. It almost tasted as though it had been thawed in the microwave. I ordere medium rare so it should have been a warm red center. The edges were grey and pink and the center was completely raw and cold. We ordered several sides and an appetizer. The spinach had more cheese than spinach and left an oily taste in my mouth. It appeared the cheese was the only seasoning used. The potatoes were fantastic and the Brussels were very good. The shrimp slaw appetizer was delicious. Our total tan was a little under $400.00 for myself and my husband for dinner, I absolutely expected better! It was Valentines weekend and we chose to just eat and leave rather than discuss with management. They should be doing MUCH better quality control regardless. Customer complaints should not be necessary when dinner for two is $400.00. Our server, Mike, was absolutely wonderful and the drinks were very good. My husbands steak was about the same as mine so we definitely found ourselves disappointed. I’ve had far better steaks at cheaper Landrys restaurants. Even the less expensive locations like Saltgrass.
