Our group left severely disappointed.
It was unlike any other Landry’s experience I’ve ever had.
We had reservations for 10.
One meal had to be sent back because of spoiled fish. Two other dishes due to cold soups. The other meals were Ok… not up to our Landry’s past experiences.
Service was ok, but very slow!
The person who meal was sent back never received their second meal.
Other than a simple verbal “I’m sorry” the situation was ignored by staff and management.
We realize, it was a casino restaurant, but…
The next day we stopped at a DQ on the way home and had their Chicken & Dumplings. EVERYONE LOVED THEM! We laughed about Landry’s the whole time.

I came to do dinner seminars for three days in a row, twice a day. When I set up the reservation, I was told we could come for a $1000 minimum for both seminars total per day. That's what my deposit paperwork had on it was the $1000 minimum. But, I later discovered that when she sent the follow up contracts, she changed it to me having to pay for 20 meals per seminar regardless of my attendance. I didn't catch it on the BEO (shame on me) because we never discussed this so shame on her for changing it on me. So, the first day, I was hit with a $1400 bill for 25 dinners at $31.99 each. I told them they could fix this to what we had previously agreed to or I would never be back after this week. They refused to honor the original agreement so we paid a little over $400 more than we should have each day. Unfortunately for them, their extra $1200 is going to cost them thousands because we come back to these locations every 90 days.
Also, for the price of $31.99, it was the least amount of food I've ever seen. One small piece of protein and one side. Then, they have some silly rule that when you do a private event, people are not allowed to get a to go box (not that we needed any with that small amount of food).
Lastly, three of my six seminars I had issues with servers interrupting me during my presentation which I specifically emphasized not to do.
So, overall, not happy with this restaurant, especially with the bait and switch they pulled on me that cost us over $1200.

Oyster Bar Trash was delicious and so was the Mahi Mahi. Our waiter Davin was fantastic! He gave us the "just right" kind of attention we needed. Glasses never went empty and he had the best personality!

As a woman of cultivated taste — someone who has graced more Gulf Coast lunch menus than I care to admit — I rarely find myself genuinely impressed. And yet, today at Landry’s inside the Golden Nugget, I was confronted with a level of service so exceptional it nearly compelled me to stand up and deliver a speech.
Kenisha, the undisputed luminary of the dining room, transformed what should have been a simple lunch into an event worthy of documentation. Her timing? Surgically precise. Her recommendations? Offered with the serene confidence of someone who has achieved enlightenment through menu mastery. Her attentiveness? I’ve witnessed sommeliers with less intuition.
The moment my drink dipped even slightly below optimal levels, Kenisha materialized — as if carried in on a whisper of hospitality — restoring it before I could so much as blink. Truly, an artist at work.
Let the record show:
Kenisha is not merely a server; she is the cornerstone upon which Landry’s lunchtime greatness rests.

For a seafood restaurant the steaks are pretty darn good. They were cooked to perfection! It did take a long time to get our food, but it was worth it. However, the chicken fettuccini alfredo had too many ingredients in it for our liking.
