1/5 Stars: Unacceptable Service, Forgotten Food, and Serious Sanitation Concerns
This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had at a Buffalo Wild Wings. The list of failures in service, food quality, and basic sanitation standards is astonishingly long.
The Wait and The Mystery Server:
We were seated promptly, but that was the end of the efficiency. We sat at our table for 30 minutes before we finally had to flag down an employee just to ask who our server was. The person we asked was noncommittal but agreed to get our initial drinks. Our actual, assigned server never once appeared or greeted us during our entire visit.
An Hour for Food, Appetizer Forgotten:
When we finally managed to place our order for an appetizer, wings, and drinks, the downhill slide continued. It took an entire hour for our main course to arrive. Once the food was dropped off, our server casually mentioned that she had completely forgotten to put in the order for our appetizer.
Food and Drink Failures:
The wings, the staple of BWW, were delivered incorrectly (not what we ordered) and, more disturbingly, some pieces were visibly bloody and undercooked, posing a serious food safety concern. Furthermore, when I asked for a simple drink refill, my server returned with a cup of Sprite for my partner that had been sitting forgotten on the bar for at least 15 minutes, completely ignoring my initial refill request.
Sanitation and The Final Straw:
When the wings were delivered, we had no plates or napkins. We waited another 15 minutes until the server returned with them. When she approached our table, she reeked of pure cigarette smoke. The plates were dropped off, and upon reaching for the stack of napkins to wipe my face, I was appalled to discover the napkins themselves also smelled strongly of cigarettes. This is completely unacceptable from a sanitation and professional standpoint.
Summary:
We experienced a 30-minute un-greeted wait, a forgotten appetizer, a one-hour wait for main courses, wings that were incorrect and undercooked (bloody), and a server who delivered plates and napkins that smelled heavily of tobacco after ignoring a refill request. We will not be returning to this location.
