  inquired about the shrimp being imported and was advised it was a rare occurence. ordered to go . guess I should have been more specific and asked for the popcorn shrimp. got butterflied which the menu clearly stated were and definitely are imported. Beautiful plate of food but not at all what I wanted. disappointed.

  Great place for seafood in Kenner. Usual menu items you might expect. Service was great, the food was fresh.

  My wife and I stumbled across this seafood restaurant after visiting a nearby casino. I found it on Google and liked what I was reading on the reviews. The reviews were absolutely correct. We got the double hamper(I think that's what it was) The boiled seafood was awesome... seasoned just right. What amazed us the most were the fixins that came with the order. Usually a seafood restaurant will charge for things like corn, sausage, and potatoes... but not here. Our order came with not only corn sausage and potatoes, but also mushrooms and whole cloves of garlic. Anyone who knows about Cajun seafood boils, know that these are items that are always "in da pot" After speaking with another couple that frequents Smitty's often, we will return to try more of their menu options. I hear that their fried seafood is just as awesome as the boiled. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this as a dining option if you're in the area. 😁

  Service and atmosphere was great. The Crawfish however were not up to the standard of the boiled shrimp they have. I don't know if yall used different methods of boiling but I was sadly disappointed because all of the other food that I have tried there through the years have been delicious

  I got 4lbs Sunday night, and it was so overcooked. Like.. squishy shell kind of overcooked. My husband surprised me by picking them up after work, but they were closed by the time he got home (we live about 5-10 minutes away). I love smitty's, and I always have a great experience with the staff, but I don't think I'll be back for crawfish anymore. :(
