I placed an online order through the app via the Freshpass subscription. I had several cold/perishable items in my order, and when the driver picked up my groceries, she picked up another order at the same time. She delivered the other order first, and by the time my groceries got to my house, all of my perishable items were spoiled. I went into the store and was told the delivery manager would get me a refund the next day when she got in and would call me. I left my name and number but, surprise, surprise, never received a call or a refund. I placed a refund request through the app, which got denied, and I was told by a call center rep that they would process my refund request manually, since it was over their automatic refund threshold. After calling back for an update, I was told that the store had approved it, and I would be receiving my refund within 7 days. On day 6, I called back, and was told "oh don't worry, your refund will post to your account tomorrow." The 7th day came and went, and lo & behold, no refund (shocker, I know, right)? I went back into the store and the assistant director told me there was nothing that she could do, and I had to wait until the next morning when the director arrived. I spoke with probably 10 different people about this issue either in store, on the phone with the call center, or via the chat and not a single person was able to help me. I was given the runaround and told "talk to this person, you need to call this number, you need to go to this department" all with no resolution. I've spent numerous hours dealing with this, and I'm still out $64. To make matters worse, I can't even cancel my freshpass subscription which was $99. So, all in all Albertsons has screwed me out of over $150. So, shopper beware! These people absolutely and down right REFUSED to help me. I only hope my review helps someone else before they make the mistake of shopping here or signing up for Freshpass.
