Worst experience ever at this Jimmy a John location in Gonzales. Order my sandwich through drive through today around 12:18 noon today (owner:…review your surveillance camera for accuracy)
and I was told I could not pay Apple Pay because they may drop my phone if I hand it over to be scanned.I was like you got to be kidding. I just came here Saturday and had no issue with them taking Apple Pay through the drive through! I was highly disappointed at the lack of empathy and lack of professionalism. I had to leave because I didn’t have shoes on to go in and I only had a 30 minute lunch break. I was left without my meal just because she said “they may drop my phone if I pay Apple Pay and they don’t want to be responsible. I had to come inside to pay. How crazy that sounds. If you won’t take Apple Pay by drive thru please put a sign out so we all know In advance. You won’t be in business long with this process for sure! Unbelievable Bad Service!!

I really enjoy Jimmy John’s sandwiches. The food is always fresh, consistent, and top-tier. However, I’ve noticed an issue with the drive-through payment process. Sometimes employees allow Apple Pay at the window, and other times they don’t. It would be helpful if the store posted a clear sign stating whether Apple Pay is accepted in the drive-through, so customers know what to expect before ordering. The main reason for using the drive-through is convenience, and it feels unfair when the policy seems to change depending on who’s working. I hope this can be addressed so the experience stays as great as the food.
