  I’ve been to Don's Seafood a few times now, and overall it’s a solid spot. On this visit I ordered the grilled salmon, and it was cooked perfectly—flaky, flavorful, and right on temperature. The real standout for me, though, is the green beans. They’re honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere, full of flavor and not overcooked. In the past, when I’ve been seated the bar, service has been quick and friendly. Food usually comes out fast, and everything runs pretty smoothly. That said, sitting at the bar this trip was a different experience. This time, I waited over 20 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged me while, which was frustrating. It didn’t seem overly busy, so it felt more like I was just overlooked. Once I was finally able to order, everything else went well, but that initial wait definitely stood out. I’ll still come back because the food is consistently good.

  The oysters and my water was good and that was about it. Wasn't served with small bite size bread that usually comes with the oysters, but saw other tables around us had it. The hush puppies were not good, really hard in the middle. Had the jacked up cheese burger and you could tell it sat waiting before it was delivered. You could tell the fries were old like the ones you get from McDonalds. Corn on the cob wasn't even hot enough to melt the butter. Ridiculous for the amount of money spent on such terrible food besides the oysters.

  Mika and Claire are always on point! I try to come every Tuesday for my catfish and red beans and everytime I show up I’m greeted with “Mickey or blue moon” And before I can order they ask if I want catfish & red beans . Best servers/tenders in the parish

  Really enjoyed my time here. The food was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Big shoutout to our waiters Bri and Landen who were super friendly and quick with everything. The manager Adam was also very welcoming truly elevated the experience professional, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to maintaining high standards. Solid spot I’d come back again.
