The cashier quietly asked me are you OK sir and I replied, just having a bad day she looked up with a smile and said it always could be worse. She then said when I’m having a bad day, a Subway chocolate chip cookie always makes things better. As she was making my sandwich, she continued to smile and make eye contact with me. As she was making my sandwich I observed everything to be clean and neat all the vegetables and meat looked very fresh. As she was wrapping up my sandwich, she made eye contact with me with the biggest smile and said I hope your day gets better. As she handed me the chocolate chip cookie I was so impressed of how it smelled and appeared to be fresh and hot. She advised me to eat the chocolate chip cookie before I eat my sandwich. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that means the most, and when going into Subway just to get a sandwich and a cashier with a bright smile and a warm heart sure changes the way your day goes. there’s an old saying that people make the place and the young lady I believe her name was Casey sure knows how to brighten up a man’s day. Thanks, Subway you sure know how to pick an employee.
