    Excellent food, excellent service, excellent environment. We had very large crowd tonight and extended family, and the restaurant handled everybody with ease. Madi was our server, she was fantastic. Everyone was amazed at how well she handled our party because it would typically take two for a party our size. The food and service is far superior to what to the knock off brand we have in Watson. Thank you for being amazing!!!

    We have eaten here for many years and loved the food. Tonight we had the regular and the jacked up chargrilled oysters. The flavor is great however I have never seen such tiny oysters in my life. It looked like they cut really small oysters in half. They were so small they were literally glued to the shell because of the heat used to cook them. Definitely not worth the money. Also the stuffed grilled shrimp are getting much smaller. And the boiled shrimp dinner was good but only included 12 shrimp - looked like the short end of large sized shrimp and nowhere near a pound. We live in Louisiana, buy and cook Louisiana seafood frequently and there is no excuse for this kind of subpar quality - especially from Don’s. Very disappointing.

    If you would have asked me 10 months ago I would have giving a wonderful 5 star review! Now I would have rathered drive thru seafood instead of getting ready and going out . The platters were so small and sad the catfish filets were literally all breading and only got 1 peice on a 32$ plate. They gave me a small bowl maybe 4 ozs of green beans and charged 6$ . The waitress was the worst waitress I've ever had there ,she thought she would do better on her party table . I can tell you if you can't handle a party of 15 and a single table you shouldn't be waitressing ! Btw I usually leave about 45$ tip . This waitress was worse than a buffet waitress. Every cup on my table was empty . All the food came out at once ! We didn't even get more utensils for our food til the host saw us looking around ! The host will be a great waitress after her birthday this month! I am not just any customer I was a manager that trained over 160 waitresses there is no excuse to ignore your orginal table because you know your about to get huge gratuities from a party table . I have always been satisfied with the great food and service at this Dons not anymore! The food was literally horrible, I've never been disappointed til now! Idk what yall have done but I'll be spreading the news ! My 13 dollar BOWL of GUMBO had 5 shrimp ,2 with shells, and 3 chunks of crab meat and tasted gritty . The etouffee was powdery and flavorless and shrimp also had shells ! The gumbo had always been my favorite full of meat ! Not anymore ! I'll be traveling to baton rouge for seafood from now on .
