I called the store to ask a simple question about whether someone was eligible for rehire, and the manager, Tessie, spoke to me with a rude, dismissive attitude from the moment the conversation began. Before I even finished asking my question, she hung up on me. I reached out afterward for clarification and was given vague, unhelpful responses that didn’t address why I was treated with such disrespect. On top of that, I was told completely conflicting information about the rehiring process—one thing over the phone and a totally different explanation later on. It’s clear that communication and professionalism are lacking severely in management. No customer should be met with hostility for asking a simple question, and no manager should behave this way. McDonald’s needs to seriously look into the way this location is being run, especially by management. Unprofessional behavior like this drives people away, not just as customers but as potential employees as well. I tried to get answers afterward, but all I got was confusion, conflicting information, and zero accountability. No one deserves to be talked to like that—customer or not. It says a lot about the atmosphere of a place when the management can’t even show basic respect. Also nothing but horror stories about manager Tricia. That’s why they can’t keep staff. It’s the way they treat people.
