This might be the worst McDonald’s in the Baton Rouge area. This location has consistently terrible service and disrespectful staff. Do better, Valuzzo.

Came through on a Thursday evening around 9:30 10:00 PM. Literally the the worst customer service I’ve ever had employees are very rude screaming yelling profanity. The restaurant was actually trash is disgusting. Messed up the food. Try to talk to a manager. She was too busy to come upfront from what we were told highly highly recommend staying from this trash of a McDonald’s it is the worst I have ever seen in Louisiana on top of. It’s been $45 and they got the whole order wrong. Just don’t wanna see anybody else waste my money on garbage and unprofessionalism at a restaurant.

Like many, I'm a fast food child from the late 70s/early 80s. As such, until recently I visited this location for lunch at least once a week. Last week I went through the drive through and then ate in my car as I didn't feel like eating inside the often grimy restaurant. Also, I often feel unsafe in this particular location - lots of people loitering in and around the restaurant and its entrances. After I finished up I exited my vehicle to throw my trash away and then went inside for a refill, as I've done many times in the past - both when I occasionally eat inside and in the parking lot. As soon I walked through the door, 2 employees asked me what I needed. When I told them I was getting a refill they informed me they don't "do that" for people that eat outside at this location. No problem. That's the rule and I'm not special. But they took my cup of ice that I had set down on the counter to ensure I didn't walk to the machine on my own to get a refill. I paid for that. And although I don't know this, I bet they charge for cups of ice. I didn't argue - just walked to the restroom to wash my hands (no soap and uncleaned as usual). The location is convenient but I won't be back. Sad.

The food was disappointing, even by McDonald's standards. I might eat McDonald's about once a year, so maybe this is just the recent trend. The quality of the food really came across like it was optimized for inexpensive, efficient delivery (which I guess maybe it was). But even the exact same McDonald's food items used to be better. I ordered a Hot 'N Spicy McChicken Biscuit and a Bacon Egg Cheese Biscuit. Several years ago, the Bacon Egg Cheese biscuit was so good I could eat one every day (and sadly sometimes did eat more than one in a week), but the quality of today's BEC biscuit doesn't tempt me at all. You could do better getting one from the freezer section of your local grocery store and putting it in a microwave. The service was poor. I don't think the person who handed me my food actually spoke to me. The dining area was relatively clean, or at least not noticably filthy. The McDonald's app was easy to use. I was trying it out for the first time, which I guess was the purpose of my visit, along with an odd craving for the Bacon Egg Cheese biscuit from years ago. I have to imagine, based on this experience, that this location is even worse than the average McDonald's. I don't plan to visit here again anytime soon, but if I visit this location again it will be out of convenience and a craving for hot fries. Maybe those are still good. But then again, I'm not sure I'd return to this location just based on the attitude of the employees. If the ones out front have such a bad disposition, what are the people in the back doing to your food?
