Placed an order on the mobile app to pick up in the drive thru. It took 5 minutes for a real person to even say anything at the voice box despite me saying “Hello?” several times. When someone did finally answer, they said “We’re only taking card orders at this time.” I said, “I already placed a mobile order.” Staff said, “Oh, what’s the name?” I proceeded to give my name and they asked me to pull to the next window. I pulled up to the first window only to see the worker blatantly scrolling on their phone. After about 30 seconds of that, she opened the window and handed me my receipt, saying “Thanks!” I pulled up to the second window to wait for the food and proceeded to do so for 25 MINUTES! No one came to the window at all during those 25 minutes. Mind you I was the only car in the drive thru for a majority of this time, the drive thru window was wide open with all kinds of alarms going off from the machines inside, and my order only contained 3 items: a large sprite, a large fry, and a spicy McChicken. After 25 minutes of waiting, same person from the first window who handed me my receipt walked by and said, “What was your order?” I gave my name again for the order. It turns out my Sprite had been sitting there on the counter the whole time, sweating with condensation so badly that she poured it out and refilled it with some fresh Sprite. Then I waited about another 2-3 minutes for them to collect the remaining two food items. Was handed a bag with fresh hot fries and the spicy chicken sandwich, yet no apology or acknowledgment regarding the long wait time was given whatsoever. What took them almost half an hour to get to this point I wonder? Total disregard for the customer or the customer’s time. I was shocked at how little they seemed to care about how much time they wasted leaving me waiting there for almost half an hour for 3 items, and no there being attempt to recover from that with an apology or even acknowledgment of the wait. Reading other reviews, this is not a rare occurrence with this location. Poor customer service, long wait times, and no acknowledgment or attempt to correct the issue will no doubt lead to the closure of this location. Management must be aware of this repeat issue of untimely and poor customer service at this location by now and are deliberately choosing to do nothing about it. Reflects poorly on the organization.
